Every bracelet purchased through Band for Aid directly supports children receiving care in hospitals across the country. Our mission is simple: turn small acts of kindness into real help for kids who need it most.

What's Our Impact?

01

💛 How Your Purchase Makes an Impact

Your bracelet isn’t just an accessory — it’s a contribution. A portion of every sale goes straight toward funding programs, equipment, and services that support children and their families during medical treatment.

  • 70% of each bracelet sale is donated

  • Donations are sent every other month after each campaign

  • Funds support essential care, equipment, and family assistance programs

02

🌍 The Hospitals We Support

We focus on children’s hospitals that serve high‑need communities and face ongoing funding shortages. Our current global partners include:

Kenyatta National Hospital – Pediatric Unit (Nairobi, Kenya)
Provides critical care to thousands of children each year, many from low‑income families. Donations help supply basic medical equipment and improve treatment spaces.

Alberta Children’s Hospital (Calgary, Canada)
A leading pediatric hospital serving children across Western Canada. Many of its programs — including mental health services, specialized equipment, and family support initiatives — rely heavily on community donations to continue operating.

03

🤝 Our Promise of Transparency

We share updates, donation totals, and the hospitals we support so you always know the impact you’re making. Your kindness travels farther than you think.

Case Study: UNICEF Hygiene Kits in Lebanon

Background

Lebanon has faced severe economic and social challenges in recent years. Many families struggle to afford basic hygiene items, which increases health risks and affects children’s ability to attend school consistently.

What UNICEF Did

According to UNICEF’s 2023 Lebanon Humanitarian Action report, the organization distributed over 100,000 hygiene kits to vulnerable families. These kits included:

- Soap

- Toothpaste

- Sanitary pads

- Disinfectant

- Diapers

UNICEF partnered with local organizations to identify households most in need and deliver supplies directly to communities.

Impact

- Families reported improved daily hygiene and living conditions

- Lower risk of disease outbreaks in underserved areas

- Children were able to attend school more regularly

- Community volunteers strengthened local support networks

Connections to Bands For Aid

This case study shows how small, practical items can make a real difference. Bands for Aid follows the same idea: simple products can help raise funds that support meaningful humanitarian work.

We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.
